Anzac Dawn Service

Maryland Shortland Scout Group will be attending the Anzac Day Dawn service at the Shortland RSL Memorial Grove.

All youth and adult members and their families are invited to attend the event.

Date: Saturday 25 April 2026

Time: Arrive by 5:20am, service will commence at 5:30am, finishing approx. 6:00am

Location: Shortland RSL Memorial Grove, 3 Conmurra Circuit Shortland

Dress: Full scout uniform – Scout Shirt & Scarf, Black/Navy pants, dark coloured jacket

Important information:

·         Parents are responsible for their children attending the event. Parents must remain at the event and actively supervise their children.

·         One youth member in full uniform from each section will be selected to lay our wreath.

·         Apply insect repellent – the mossies are terrible.

·         Attendance will contribute towards the ANZAC Badge
