·Activity information: Youth will be participating in a vertical activity where youth will wear harnesses & helmets to create a stack of milk crates. Youth will be standing on top of the stack, secured to a belay system. When the stack is complete, youth will be lowered to the ground. Youth will not exceed a height of 10m above the ground. Activity is being run by qualified leaders in Vertical games.
Helmets & harnesses will be provided for the activity.
Specific consent must be given to participate as this is an adventurous activity.
Vertical activities come with a level of risk. Appropriate risk management and activity planning has been conducted in accordance with Scouts NSW procedures.
Youth who do not have consent will undertake other activities and can not be involved in crate stacking in any way.
·What to wear/ bring:
Scout shirt and shorts.
Youth with long hair must secure it in a low bun
Hair around the face will be secured under the helmet
Bring water bottle
