This event is to gather permission for scouts to travel in leader vehicles to State Rally. 

Scouts must be at Maryland Shortland Scout Hall at 1:00pm on Friday 7 August 2026.

Youth will be travelling to State Rally in leader vehicles.
We will stop at Thornleigh McDonalds for a late lunch prior to arriving at Cataract Scout Park. Upon completion of the event on Sunday afternoon, Scouts will return to Maryland Shortland Scout Hall approx. 6pm. We will have a quick snack/afternoon tea stop at McDonalds Thornleigh on our way home (it’s tradition!)
Updated arrival times will be posted to the group Facebook page upon departing Sydney. Parents will need to collect their scout from Maryland Shortland Scout Hall.

To assist to cover costs of tolls & fuel, youth members are to pay $50 cash to leaders on the day.

Transport arrangements will be in accordance with Scout NSW policy with a minimum of 2 youth in each vehicle
